This EMT course is set to begin June 10, 2025 . This course will Run as a Hybrid class with in class with in class one day a week this will be Tuesdays. 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. You will need to do four clinical shifts that will need to be submitted by June 17th NO changes will be allowed once shifts are approved .Sanilac County residents cost $950.00 (millage dollars at work for you) and $1,200.00 for out of county residents. Cost includes Fisdap testing and internship subscription, Clinical ID Badge, 1 Clinical Shirt and Urine Drug Screen and Background Check. Minimum State requires a 194 hours.

Please print and complete the grant application found above. Be advised if the course is not completed once started the student will be responsible for the full amount of the tuition.

Additional Education required Prior to the start of class include MI Train webinars the links will be included in the schedule and will be emailed to students prior to the start of class.
Prerequisites:
- Must be 17 years or older (you can be 17 to take the class and NREMT exam, but will not be eligible for a Michigan EMT license until 18 years).
- Must be high school graduate or in your senior year or have a GED
- Pass a background check
Candidates are required to submit the following records
- Negative 2 step TB test within 1 year
- Proof of immunity to MMR & Varicella (Titers required)
- Proof of immunity to HepB (Titers required) or signed HepB declination
- Physical
- Urine Drug screen will be obtained prior to clinical time.
- Copy of High School Diploma or GED
- Copy of Valid Drivers License.
